Beltran's 2-run homer gives Mets Game 1 win

Carlos Beltran hit a two-run two-out homer off Jeff Weaver to back seven shutout innings by pitcher Tom Glavine and the New York Mets beat the St. Louis Cardinals 2-0 Thursday night in the NL championship series opener.
